Best-selling author Kristin N. Spencer has been studying, reading, and writing for over 18 years. She has turned that passion to developmental editing and novel coaching for the last four years. Kristin also recently received her Copyediting certificate through the University of California, San Diego. One of her most vivid joys in life is to help other authors take their manuscripts to the next level of creativity and complexity.
Kristin studied Comparative World Literature at California State University, Long Beach, and received a Bachelor’s, which she fondly calls a degree in reading. Her first Fantasy YA Fiction ‘Plunge Into Darkness,’ came out in February 2018 and was a finalist in the ‘Friendship’ category of the National Indie Excellence Awards. She is most well known for her best-selling nonfiction work Write the Perfect Read: Make Readers Happy While Propelling Them to the Last Page – The Fiction Edition.
She spends part of each day imagining up new worlds and beings when she isn’t busy taking care of her three children, two dogs, and writing partner husband T. E. Spencer.

Best-selling author Maria Mountokalaki has turned her passion for precision into a systematic approach to editing and translating manuscripts. As a lover of literature herself, she realized at a young age that the Greek translations of her favorite books could have been more accurately translated from English. Apart from her Bachelor’s degree in English, she also has a Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. After many years of admiring the craft behind writing a novel, Maria recognized that her keen eye for detail would be put to good use if she worked as an editor. She has been editing and translating novels for nine years. She is most well known for her best-selling nonfiction work Write the Perfect Read: Make Readers Happy While Propelling Them to the Last Page – The Fiction Edition.
Maria speaks Greek, English, and Spanish fluently. When she isn’t teaching, translating, editing or silently correcting people’s grammar, she enjoys long walks with her dog, Cora, in the forest, listening to audio books, as well as playing and reviewing board games.
